Travis Taddeo will return to Toronto’s World MasterCard Fashion Week to showcase his namesake men’s and women’s spring/summer 2013 collection in the Studio on Friday, October 26 at 5 p.m.

Inspired by “azulejos,” a form of Portuguese painted, tin-glazed ceramic tile work, and the juxtaposition of pleasure and pain, this collection is a clear reflection of the architectural balance that can exist between traditional, minimalist shapes, and edgier, more atypical designs – a style that has become representative of the forward-thinking designer.

“This collection focuses on trademark jerseys and clean cuts suited for our independent clientele, all the while remaining true to our vision, which is to create classic designs with a minimalistic edge,” said Taddeo.

This collection also marks the launch of the first men’s footwear collection by a Canadian designer under the ALDO RISE program, which gave Taddeo the opportunity to incorporate a head-to-toe look into his design aesthetic. Aldo Rise is available at select Aldo stores around the world. TRAVIS TADDEO for Aldo Rise is part of the collection to be released in Spring 2013.
