Typically I only like to write about things I love, amazing brands, and great experiences, but since finding this video on YouTube I felt I needed to share this with all of you. Since most of our readers are from Canada and the U.S. I also wanted to know if anyone has had a similar or unpleasent expierience with this company. Trisha Paytas, YouTuber extraordinaire, reached out to her fans about a terrible experience she had at a Brandy Melville store. “Allegedly” the person at the store wouldn’t let her try anything on because Trisha would stretch out their clothing, “allegedly”. Now the video has been removed because the brand’s lawyers sent a letter to Miss Paytas informing her that they would be taking legal action against her. Having taken her father’s advice (to avoid lawyer fees) she took down the video and replaced it with the one below. Take a look and give us your thoughts – is this defamation of character for the brand or discrimination against the cutomer?
