Unusual Accessories To Try This Season
This season promises to bring so incredible new fashion into the stores. If you’re going to invest in a great new outfit, then you probably want to make sure you’ve got the accessories to complete the ensemble. Fortunately, this season also promises some fantastic new ideas in the accessories department too. We’ve been on the lookout for the weird and wonderful to enhance your gorgeous outfits this season.
Wood is so natural and so beautiful. Very few people have worn it up until now. We’re all familiar with wooden beads from when we were kids. Now we can enjoy natural wood earrings, watches, and necklaces from all the popular accessory stores. Wooden watches, in particular, are quite beautiful. Every part of the face can be made from wood, making it perfect for a casual outfit.
It’s been a while since pearls were trendy and not just part of the classic look. But now we see far more natural and man-made pearls in all the fashion stores. Pearls work beautifully for a work outfit or something like a cocktail dress. Now you can enjoy the beauty of black pearls with any ensemble. They have just enough shimmer and sheen to make a formal outfit into something quite special. And they’re just grungy enough to make it with a jeans and shirt combi too!
The hat for this season is a faux fur Russian hat. They look so cute as well as being the toasty head warmer we need when it’s cold. Look for the better quality ones that include a satin finish inner in pillow design. Don’t be afraid to mix it up a bit with colors either. While many (sadly) resemble animal fur, there are plenty of pop colors available too, like blacks, scarlets, and baby blues. Wear the brim low close to your eyebrows with long hair down underneath for a super cute look.
If you think back to the eighties (or just Google it) and look at Madonna’s styles of the time, you might wonder what the fuss was about when it came to lace. But lace is back, albeit in a more subtle form. Lace is now being used for decorative detail in casual and evening wear. It appears in hemlines as well as collar and cuff details once again. Look out for some lace detailing in gloves and shoes for next season.
