Join the Girls of T.O Team!

Between full-time jobs and our personal lives, it’s hard to keep a consistent flow on the blog, so we are excited to announce that we are launching a search for contributors for the GOTO blog!

We have previously mentioned that we would like to expand and branch into different areas of expertise- what better way than to get more Girls of T.O on our team (the more the merrier, right?!)

We’re eager to share everything we love about our blog with this select panel of Gurus. It’s going to be a fun, challenging and exciting experience for our new contributors; we can’t wait to get things started!

Here is what we are looking for:

• Fashion: We are looking for posts about current fashion trends, product posts, brand campaigns etc. (no outfit posts please)
• Decor: Decorating ideas, tips, trends and DIY’s.
• Health & Wellness: Workout regimes, fitness and health tips.
• Beauty: Beauty tips, tutorials (hair, nails, makeup etc.), favourite beauty products and beauty trends.
• Food: Recipes, nutrition tips, meal planning, meal planning on a budget etc.
• DIY: We are looking for posts that demonstrate projects and crafts that people can easily make and show step-by-step directions.

Please read below before applying as to make sure this is the right choice for you.

How often? This is all dependent on how much time you are willing to dedicate to blogging for Girls of T.O. Ideally, we would like to keep a steady flow of posts; so once you apply to be a contributor, please let us know of your availability.

Payment? At this time, there will not be payment. However, this is a great chance to gain exposure and collaborate with us. If you are looking to gain experience in journalism and PR/Marketing, than this could be a great opportunity for you.

Blog Experience: You don’t need a blog, but it helps as we will be linking back to you on the contributor page.

Images and Posts: We are looking for posts and images that fit the aesthetic of our blog. Please get acquainted with our site, our style of writing and look.

Sharing: The posts that you write for GOTO cannot be posted on your personal blog or any other blog. However, you may do a post on your blog and social networks letting your readers know that you are blogging on our site that day.

If you are interested in being a contributor for us, we would love to hear from you! Please send an email to info@girlsofto.com  to be considered. Please let us know which categories you are interested in. Please write ‘Contributors’ in the subject line of the email and include a short paragraph about yourself and what interests you.

If you have a sample of previous writing you have done, please include that in the email.

We will be selecting contributors within the next 3-4 weeks. Once we have made our selection, we will send out an email to those who have been chosen and we will announce on Girls of T.O who our new team members are!
