Weekly Flower Run OOTD

Regardless of how hectic my weekends are (I usually shoot lots of blog content on the weekends), one thing I always do is pick up some flowers. It is something that is so simple, but it brings me so much joy, so you can expect to see my weekly flower pickups on my Instastories often!

This weekend was filled with work, but I also got to enjoy some lunch at Earl’s with friends and a visit to The Beaches and then Sunday brunch at One Eighty which overlooks Toronto and where you get a clear view of the gorgeous CN Tower. Though I have to admit that the food didn’t blow me away, it was the perfect view to enjoy the morning, sip on Bellini’s and just take a minute to breath and smile. I’m finding it more important than ever to take the time to just be real and enjoy life – its moments and even when it comes to blogging.

I’ve also become less obsessed with lugging my big DSLR around and spending days going from location to location to shoot and create content and instead I’m taking simple opportunities to create content for the blog. Even if it’s an outfit or what I’m doing on a particular day – I’m hoping to create quick and a”real” content along with more editorial and time consuming content that allows me to be creative and have some fun!

It’s really not always about these big elaborate shoots and content, but sometimes it really is as simple as putting on a cute new skirt, grabbing flowers and capturing a fun day!
