Personally, in the spirit of Holly GoLightly and a less melancholy Bridget Jones, I like to have a bottle of bubbly and my favourite flute on hand at all times ready- You never know when the occasion will strike!

Recently, I was lucky enough to take home a bottle of Barefoot’s Bubbly Moscato Spumante, a California sparkling wine. It is light, crisp and fruity filled with the tastes of peach, apricot and melon. Even the bubbles are light, making this sparkling wine ‘easy-to-drink’ and accessible for everyone.

Another great trait of this delicious sparkling wine is versatility. It works very well in sparkling cocktails such as Mimosas or Bellini’s.
